Trails for Trunks @ The Big Red Barn

HERD, along with AdventureTails, hosted the first Trails for Trunks physical event at the Big Red Barn in Pretoria. Distances varied from 5km to 21km for walkers, runners and cyclists. Despite the chilly winter morning, Centurion Hiking Club had great fun arrive at 7am – ready to go! Runners were off at 8am and wasted no time securing their spot in the race. We were amazed by the speed of the competitors, and a few even repeated the route! Many took the morning to have a relaxing walk through the serene bush to escape the city life for a few hours!
