This 10km circular trail has some breathtaking and stunning mountain views. There are many examples of British fortifications from the South African War which are dotted along the summit and if hikers are very quiet, they may get a glimpse of the resident pair of endangered Mountain Reedbuck. The trail will take us through a wooded kloof of magical forest trees alongside a mountain spring and stream. This kloof area is believed to hold tremendous spiritual significance to local tribes. The trail also offers a rich history of South Africa and the land wars that took place there many years ago.
